Artist Workshops

Although, on occasion private classes are offered at my studio, most classes are offsite. Working as an independent Art Educator, with over 15 years of teaching for Art Encounter of Evanston , we teach art workshops for youth ranging from age nine years to adults. In-school programs are mainly workshops designed for student’s grade 3 – 5; although on occasion we are in high-schools. The after- school programs I generally participate in are geared toward grade school to high school students.

In-school Programs

ARTiculation – A proven art and writing program geared toward enhancing students’ critical thinking, writing and presentation skills. This program is a partnership between 3rd through 5th grade teachers and Art Encounter Teaching Artist; conducted during school hours.

Art Club After-school Programs

Students explore and work on different art concepts though this program. It is design to help students find their creative voice through painting, sculpture and mixed media.

Linking Generations

This is an afterschool program for High School students and adults. The main focus of this program is to link generations using art as the platform. By using commonalities and differences, the teams express their experiences by creating art boxes that are put on display at the end of a seven week session.
